a story of systematic oppression
How it Began
It all started in Los Angeles, California. During the height of the Black Lives Matter Movement, Kelly discovered a need for education among allies. When she created Allies for Black Americans, she did it with the idea of unifying education for all the allies so they can take that knowledge, learn from it, and be better allies who can help change the system.
To help further the efforts, she recruited a team of people who were all just as dedicated to the cause and helping spread the message.
This is how [definition: ally] was born. A sub-set of merchandise to help raise money for people in need, to help get top tier education, and to help pay and promote Black led organizations that may be too small to get their message out effectively.
